You never lose on gain traits, you only change their form, and your hierarchy of values determines how they are expressed. In this era, its qualitative research that produces better results. Quantitative research can be misleading if you are a visionary. It doesn't let you take the bull by the tail which would be easier to let go if it got mad. Its better to attempt to do something great and fail, than to attempt to do nothing and succeed. Hope is not the absence of suffering but rather living in the presence of love. Just like my priceless mentor constantly reminds me, 'Personality will determine where you stand but character will determine where you sit'

One of the worst features about worrying is that it destroys your ability to concentrate. Its unwise to minimize your form of success thinking that someone else's is greater. The biggest work is not running around. The hardest work is persistence and unwavering faith amongst the toughest obstacles while still. To act to bring peace and mercy together, to make righteousness and peace kiss and make up with each other. Use the formula below that I once read from Robert H Schuller to develop your own success. As you read it, remember that you need a team and it doesn't need to have equal talent. 1/2 + 1/2 = 1 but also 2/3 + 1/3 = 1. Even 1/100 + 99/100 =1. Ultimately as Daniel Ruhweza wrote, the lion is not the tallest, the largest, the strongest, the most powerful or most intelligent animal in the jungle; but the LION is the leader. Why? Because of its attitude! The formula goes as below;

1. Recognize your POSITION

2. Scrutinize your VALUES

3. Itemize your ASSETS

4. Capitalize on your EXPERIENCES

5. Prioritize your GOALS

6. Reorganize your CALENDAR

7. Visualize your OBJECTIVES

8. Mobilize your RESOURCES

9. Energize your THINKING

10. Organize your NETWORK

11. Harmonize your CONFLICTS

12. Neutralize your OPPOSITION

13. Minimize your RISKS

14. Positivize your ADDICTIONS

15. Finalize your PLANS

16. Verbalize your EXPECTATIONS

17. Actualize your DREAMS

18. Maximize your RESULTS

19. Colonize your SUCCESS

20. Revitalize your IMAGINATION

Like Richard Branson once said, 'You don't learn to walk by following the rules. you learn to walk by doing, and by falling over.' An aeroplane has only one option while in the air which is to keep moving forward. It can't go backwards or stop for a break. What matters is not how fast or slow you go but that you don't stop of lose focus. Enthusiasm replaces endurance. Basically, atonement can mean at - one - moment. Your biggest enemy is procrastination, your biggest obstacle is inertia, your most dangerous temptation is delaying. Getting started is the hardest part. Breaking loose and 'beginning' is the toughest job. Postponing can wipe out the opportunity. Scratch out the word 'some day'. SOMEDAY is TODAY! The words of Elbert Hubbard, 'Every man is a damn fool for at least five minutes everyday. Wisdom consists in not exceeding that limit.'

I end this monthly statement with a story I once read from my Doctor cousin that I treasure so much. It was part of a large article he sent me called, 'Living in Designer Poverty' which is probably the best gift he ever gave to me. It says,

"One millionaire we shall call Anton walks into a popular bank in the middle of New York City and requests to speak to a loan officer. He doesn't alert the staff to his immense riches, he simple says he's going away on business for a few weeks, to another country, and needs to borrow a small sum of money - $5000. Banks being banks, they immediately asked for security on the loan, after all they're not just going to let anyone walk away with a big wad of cash.

Anton then points out of the window to the shiny new Ferrari parked right in front of the bank. He took the title, paperwork and keys out of his pocket and slapped them down on the counter like a man on a mission. The staff went to work checking out the validity of his ownership and sure enough, everything checked out. And of course, which bank is going to turn down a quarter of a million in collateral for a measly $5000 loan? This was a no - brainer (an ironic turn of phrase as you'll soon discover).

Anton left the bank with his $5000 and the bank employee took Anton's keys and drove the brand new Ferrari down into the bank's underground garage. He assured Anton that it would be perfectly safe down there. Anton then left the bank and caught his flight to this far away land, i think it was China.

Anyway, two weeks go by and sure enough, the bank opens Monday morning to see Anton stroll in and slap the $5000 he borrowed back to the counter, plus the interest which was around $15. The loan officer asked that the car be brought round to the front of the bank and then asked Anton a question. 'Our bank prides itself in details and customer service' he said, 'and while you were away, we did a background check, it's routine, and discovered you are actually one of the wealthiest men in America. Why on earth would you need to borrow $5000, it just doesn't make sense.'

Anton smiled, picked up the keys from the counter and said, 'Can you tell me another way I could have parked my new Ferrari in the middle of New York for two weeks, for just $15, and still expect it to be in mint condition when I get back?' With that, Anton walked out of the door and the loan officer smiled a bigger smile."

May your December 2014 be better than all the past eleven months of this year combined. May you be smarter than Anton and may all your dreams come to pass. May you have pride behind you, love around you and hope ahead of you as you conclude your great year!

Sincerely yours,
