Your heart should never interrupt what your head has decisively planned and determined! It’s crucial to remember that rational thinking guides us towards our goals and objectives.
I saw this profound piece somewhere and it instantly resonated with me; thought it was strikingly relevant to the direction we are currently navigating. It's about numerous enlightening characters from the holy bible and their shortcomings, each showing that perfection does not exist, only excellence.
JACOB was a cheat, which serves as a reminder that we all have our flaws.
PETER was hot tempered, showcasing that emotional reactions can sometimes lead us astray.
DAVID had a significant affair, reflecting on the complexities of human relationships.
NOAH got drunk, illustrating that even the most revered can stumble.
JONAH ran from God, demonstrating our common tendency to evade responsibilities.
PAUL was a murderer, a stark reminder of the past we can overcome.
GIDEON was poor & insecure, highlighting the struggles we often face.
MIRIAM was a gossip, reminding us to be wary of our words.
MARTHA was worried, teaching us about the importance of trust.
THOMAS was a doubter, reminding us that uncertainty is part of the journey.
SARA was barren and impatient, a testament to the divine timing that often challenges our patience.
JOSEPH was a shepherd, embodying humility.
SAMSON was a womanizer, showcasing the pitfalls of desire.
ELIJAH was moody, serving as a reminder that our emotions vary.
MOSES stammered, proving that even leaders have insecurities.
ZACCHAEUS was short, illustrating that stature does not define greatness.
ABRAHAM was old, showing that age brings wisdom and experience.
LAZARUS was dead, demonstrating the miraculous possibility of revival and hope.
And one of my most enlightening and interesting stories in The Holy Bible, RAHAB was a prostitute, yet she excelled as a perfect sales lady. Her story is about transformation—she simply changed the commodity she offered from selling sex to selling the word of God. She gave birth to Boaz, thereby becoming part of a lineage through which both David and Jesus Christ were ultimately born. Apologizing for who you are is one of the biggest mistakes you can make in life. No matter what you have done, where you have been, what you have been doing, and how long you have sustained those actions, getting back on course with no apology is indeed one of the best and wisest choices you can make! Why is it that she was the chosen one able to survive (or chose who survives) during the destructive events of Jericho? Perhaps you could take a moment to ponder on that profound question. Formlessness is vital, but above all, If you don't establish and maintain standards, the world tends to lead you into a state of ambiguity and confusion!
Now, do you genuinely have any EXCUSE outside of history that is stopping you from surpassing your limitations and achieving greater heights? I urge you to think deeply about that.
Much love,
Tonny Rutakirwa,
