Zig Ziglar said, ‘We have all heard of self made successes but never of self made failures. This is because quitting has no place in history!’ It is also a fact that losers see icy streets but winners put on ice skates. You’ve got to get out of bed with determination if you are going to go to bed with satisfaction. Every single morning presents an opportunity, a chance to rise above whatever challenges we face. Each of us has the power to create change in our lives, and it starts with that decision to embrace the day with a resolute mindset.

Stephen R.Covey once said, ‘I am personally convinced that one person can be a change catalyst, a transformer in any situation, any organization. Such an individual is yeast that can leaven an entire loaf. It requires vision, initiative, patience, respect, persistence, courage, and faith to be a transforming leader.’ And this reminds me of Edward De Bono’s words when he said, ‘I don’t believe in hunches. Hunches always lead to bankruptcy. Instincts always brook disasters. Basically, making an idea work is more important than having the idea in the first place.’ De Bono insists further that agonizing is not procrastination. They are two separable things. We are all faced with moments where our instincts might lead us astray, and it is this perseverance in the face of uncertainty that ultimately defines our journey.

Ultimately, the thoughts that you harbor in your mind, the ones that you continually give your attention to, those thoughts will eventually become your life. If you see yourself as a success, then you will become a success; however, this vision of success is not merely a passive state. It requires effort, commitment, and sometimes, a willingness to step outside of your comfort zone. It is essential to nurture the positive thoughts and let go of the limiting beliefs that hold you back.

Whatever you consistently ponder, you will become. It is also extremely imperative to learn how to let go. You will never amount to much if you want to fight every battle, torment every debtor, follow-up every lead, etc. You are not supernatural. LET IT GO SO YOU CAN GROW! The best things in life, abundance and all will only come to you when you learn THE ART OF LETTING GO! By relinquishing control over the things you cannot change, you create space for new opportunities and experiences to flourish in your life. Life is too precious to waste on holding onto negativity; embrace the freedom that comes from letting go.

This month’s theme should have been managing the situation of BAD DEBT. Debt can be the heaviest burden a human being can carry. Especially when there is no visible open door to tally with your credit management need. Much of the time, people can misunderstand you and call your actions careless not knowing that following your heart and dreams is the right decision, ALWAYS! It requires a delicate balance of responsibility and aspirations. When you succeed, you add to your bank account, when you FAIL, you add to your heart. Ultimately, you need your heart most to handle your progressive accounts. It's paramount to remember that there is always a lesson in every setback, a chance to grow and evolve further. All the time,it’s not intentional, but all the time it is EXTREMELY USEFUL to venture into the unknown. Being risk adverse when GOD gave you the raw materials to be otherwise can be an insult to your creator. It is important to note that the most important tool to you at that time is FOCUS. Your ability to concentrate on your goals despite external circumstances will determine your trajectory. To give this topic the depth it deserves, it will be a story for another month or another book.
