The method of the enterprising is to plan with audacity and execute with vigor. I read these words in a book while in a train in a foreign land. I was feeling home sick and these words pointed to the direction of light I hadn't noticed. As a read further in the book; the words of Henri Berson caught my eye, 'Think like a man of action. Act like a man of thought.' That reminded me of the words from John Mason Brown, 'What a man is is the basis of what he dreams and thinks, accepts and rejects, feels and perceives.' It all pointed to the power of your mind, the power of attitude and the power of persistence and faith.

I was receiving a testimony recently from a friend that had taken up coaching from me months ago. And she emphasized how many people don't realize the value of coaching and mentor-ship. In sports, the best players usually have the best coaches. Doesn't matter how talented you are. Having talent is one thing, developing it is another! My coach Dr Richard London may charge a minimum of $10,000 a year but the value you get is at least 1,000% more. Why? Because the extra mile is a vast, unpopulated wasteland and taking you the extra mile is a coach's craft. Jonathan Winters once said, 'I couldn't wait for success so I went ahead without it.' A coach doesn't let you wait for success! He or she starts with you regardless of where you are currently positioned. Whether in debt or in moments of depression, whatever your current pit maybe. He or she builds on your strengths. Nothing kills weaknesses faster since each human being already knows their weaknesses and wouldn't love to be reminded of them. He or she teaches you the art of looking in both directions at once and nothing advances you faster. Somethings you can only achieve when you are accountable to someone that is ten thousand steps ahead of where you want to go.

Whenever someone approaches you with a proposal to partner with them, many times they want you to do the heavy lifting. Like Oprah Winfrey said, 'Most people want to ride with you in the limo. What you want thou are the people who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.'

The THEME for this month therefore is; ARE YOU RIDING WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE? ARE THE ONES YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO 10,000 STEPS AHEAD OF WHERE YOU WANT TO BE?

Enjoy The rest of your April 2015! Remember when you give little, you get little!
