MONTHLY STATEMENTS

Many people think I have had it easy, but it is quite the opposite. On the contrary, I have had everything awful thrown at me, and I have had to train myself to have discipline enough to read over 5000 books in 13 years. Getting past excellence and into my sublime state is not an accident; it is because I have paid the price, persisted through hardships when I didn’t know if I had made the right decision, and stayed true to my vision and purpose even when it would have been completely understandable if I didn’t. This relentless pursuit is, in fact, the remote reason why I WIN!!! Focus is exactly what has facilitated me in becoming the most followed indigenous Ugandan by Ugandans on Twitter; if you wish to see the proof of my online presence, view here
You must pay the price to become extraordinary! It doesn’t simply come to you on a silver platter while you sit and wait; you have to put in the effort. One sure way to surpass your competition is to forget more than they learn, to engage in deeper thinking rather than futile fighting with them. It's not just about winning, but how you approach the game of life that sets you apart.
Dr. John F. Demartini once encapsulated the truth when he said you can't make a difference in the world nor have something felt all over the planet until you have an astronomical vision. To truly make an impact, you must stand out beyond your immediate goals and see the earth from a higher perspective instead of merely standing on it and looking out at it; your horizon and perspective must stretch far wider. Once your perspective is derived from a different horizon, the impact of your product, service, or idea fills that entire realm. Your consciousness reaches out into that space - consequently, it resonates there. He further states that in order to develop a solid plan, we should start by working with what is last and then move backward to what is first, meticulously breaking down the dream and mission into ever-smaller actions and details until there’s no room for procrastination, hesitation, or even frustration to creep in.
The THEME for this month is WATCHING YOUR EVERY PENNY. Last night, I found myself immersed in some notes penned by a man I respect greatly, Warren Buffet. He previously imparted wisdom on the importance of paying attention to every dollar. We often assume that simply because someone possesses a large sum of money, they shouldn't bother accepting their change at restaurants, golf clubs, parks, fuel stations, or any other venue; it's often dismissed as just small money. However, let me assure you that in the eyes of wealthy individuals, there is truly no such thing as small money because small money combined with small money inevitably equals big money. This meticulous attention to even minor financial transactions is the reason why rich people remain affluent; to them, every penny counts and matters. They don’t dismiss small amounts of money simply because they have substantial figures sitting in their bank accounts. This clearly exemplifies the English proverb – 'Riches serve a wise man but command a fool.'
One underlying reason I haven’t conformed to all laws, rules, and conventional methods of doing things – regardless of the risk or repercussions they may carry – is that those systems weren’t designed with my unique vision, purpose, and circumstances in mind. As Albert Einstein poignantly said, 'To punish me for my contempt for authority, fate made me an authority myself.' This seemingly rebellious spirit is a price that every successful human being has to pay at some point. Even Jesus didn’t adhere to the preset Sabbath rules; he was not afraid to confront and challenge the traders outside the temple. I refuse to have my existence predetermined by minds that could have decided my fate for money’s sake rather than passion and purpose. Only my mind has the authority to shape my path, and only YOUR MIND holds the true power to guide you to YOUR PURPOSE. Ultimately, rules should not be viewed as something to be followed blindly; they exist to provide guidance and suggestions – and very often, perhaps they should even be completely ignored when necessary.
HAPPY NEW MONTH! I sincerely pray that this statement adds a profound value to your MAY 2014, inspiring you to take action and reflect on the lessons shared!
With warm regards,
Tonny Rutakirwa,
